The VSR-240 is the result of Serpent Autosport’s quest for the perfect classic Alfa Romeo car radio. AutoSound. This radio has large OEM style push-buttons that give a vintage look in a classic dash. Although it looks classic it has the latest modern features! USB input on the back of the radio allows you to plug in a USB flash drive for playback of MP3/WMA song files. This jack is on an 18” extension which allows you to place it in the glove box or ash tray for easy access (no unsightly wires or plugs hanging out of the front of the radio). The large alpha numeric display shows the song/artist/album (id3) titles during playback of MP3/WMA files. With the built in CD controller you have complete control of CAM’s 10 disc CD changer. This same CD controller also facilitates the optional iCAMKIT iPodŽ interface that turns your iPod on/off and charge it while giving you control to advance songs or play list from the buttons on the radio! This
Hirschman antenna is
black, with a black key-lock tip and it is not
motorized. It closes flush with the top of the fender mount and
includes a key to raise the mast along with installation instructions.
A 19-21 mm round hole is needed if not already existing. The
retractable mast is 85 cm/33 inches tall, the base is 25 cm/10 inches
deep into the fender, and the coax cable is 140 cm/55 inches long with
the proper Motorola plug for the rear of the radio to ensure a good

have secured a stash of rare Hirschmann replacement AM/FMfender mount
antennas w/ keylock. Made in Europe, this is the REAL DEAL complete
with metal below fender tube (not black plastic) and correct Hirschmann
embossed/stamped "H" logo on the chrome shell (see picture). Correct
for mid-50's-60’s Alfa Romeo. This is the same antenna used by the
Mercedes Classic Center on their restorations. Now Alfa purists can
rest easy knowing they have the correct antenna on their 99 point Alfa
